It’s getting better all the time

Although unfortunately not true, I thought perhaps that title would serve the dual purpose of getting a Beatles song stuck in my head, and permitting me to mention that I have been (and continue to be) unwell of late, which is why there have been few to no posts. Hoping for a return to healthier days (and more frequent posts) soon. Incidentally, how is your submission for Silent Type II coming along? See the link at left if you have no idea what I’m talking about.

  1. Ugh, that sucks. Everyone around here has been battling some sort of hideous stomach flu around here as well, with only myself miraculously untouched.

You need to feel better soon, though. What would the typosphere be without Strikethrough?

  2. Me, I’m still unpacking boxes, though this weekend we finally got a couch and got the last few shelves and hooks up, so everything mostly has a place. After several weeks of sitting on the floor, the couch in particular is being celebrated. Furniture is a marvelous invention.

I’m not ruling out a Silent Type entry, though mine may be a last-minute skin-of-my-teeth type of thing.

  3. Here’s hoping you’re feeling better- even a bit better now than when you posted this entry.
This weekend, I got to work on my poem for ST-2!
And I’ll send you more photos, too.

    Be well!

  4. I’m moved in the house but so tuckered out it’s not even funny. Rooms to paint and boxes to unpack. Ugh…

  5. I think I’ve finally pulled myself far enough out of the doldrums to think about submitting something.

  6. It’s been an unusually wet and stormy winter in New Mexico; we got a scattering of snow again, yesterday and this morning. I’ve been fortunate not to have gotten ill this winter (but there’s still time…)

Here’s wishing y’all some get-well-quick good thoughts, and let’s all think “spring”.

PS: I just ordered an Alphasmart Neo

  7. Hey Cheryl, sorry to hear you have been under the weather. Hopefully you have been getting better with each passing day and are now officially recovered. Spring is upon us in two days time – that should seal the deal!

  8. Thanks y’all. I am hoping to crawl my way back toward a regular posting schedule soon.
